Pearl Williams

Executive Company Manager / Costumes

Pearl Williams is a Denver Native. She studied dance at Manual High School when Joyce Little brought it in as an after school program.  Pearl is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis Missouri where she earned her BA in Dance History and Psychology. She moved to New York to complete her MA in Dance Movement Therapy from Antioch University. Pearl worked as a Dance Movement Therapist at Bronx Children Psychiatric Center and New York Institute for Special Education using Dance and Theatrical Productions as a mode of therapy. While studying and working she danced on scholarship at Clark Center, Sounds in Motion and Alvin Ailey Dance Center at East 59th Street. She performed with Variable of Seven Dance Company, Frisner Augustin’s, Haitian Folk Dance Company, La Troupe Makandal and Richard Gorton’s, Savoy Dancers. Later she earned her  second MA in School Counseling and is now working with the great Songbirds Unlimited as the Production Manager.

Russ Weatherford (1946-2016)

Script Consultant

Mr. Weatherford’s experience includes acting, directing and writing for film, television and theatre.  He wrote and directed the film Boulevard Café (Austin Films!, Inc.).  His most recent short film, Goin’ to the Chapel is currently in the film festival circuit.  His many Off and Off Off Broadway and New York directing productions include: Eleanor and Alice, which was produced in New York and reproduced at the invitation of Tipper Gore at the Corcoran Museum Theatre in Washington, D.C., Hedda Gabler with Denise Assante and Taken in Marriage at the Harold Clurman Theatre. He created and served as the Artistic Director for The Actor’s Circle, a theatre company in New York City.


Samuel French Trade distributes his book Confidence and Clarity.  He was also working on The Reality of the Road to Make-Believe, a 30-Day motivational CD series for actors.  


As an actor, Mr. Weatherford appeared on four New York soap operas:  He was creator and Executive Producer of “Secrets”, an international soap opera distributed by Trident Releasing.  He wrote over fifteen film scripts as well as plays that have been produced across the country.  He was an active member of the Screen Actor’s Guild, The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, and Actor’s Equity Association.  He was a former member of the board of directors of The Duke Ellington Center for the Arts.


Mr. Weatherford earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and a Master’s Degree in Theatre and Speech from USC.  He traveled across the country as an instructor and lecturer on the Art and Science of Storytelling,Script Analysis for the Actor and Balance, Passion and Cover: The Road to MakeBelieve™ at college campuses as well as film and television schools.


Mr. Weatherford’s last projects include DirectorVision: The Ultimate Film School™, The International University of Storytelling and the Language Learning Soap Opera Company.

Shannon Epstein

Original Lighting & Sound Design

Shannon Epstein is the technical director of the triad theater/stage 72 for just over two years.  In that time Shannon has worked on hundreds of different productions with many different stars of television, radio and film.  Some of the bigger productions Shannon has worked on are Celebrity Autobiography, Disaster and Gotham Burlesque to name a few.  Shannon is also recording and producing an EP of his band Red Soul Journey which is set to debut next month.

La Sonya Gunter

Make-up Artist

La Sonya Gunter has been a makeup artist for 25 years.  Her credits include:  Oscar de La renta, Zac Posen.  Film: "And so it goes" with Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton.  TV: Ugly Betty.  Currently, she is the makeup artist for the Broadway show Kinky Boots, starring Billy Porter.  She is also a member of local 798 hair and makeup/ journeyman for makeup.

Katherine Silverio

Make-up Artist

She studied the artristy of  Make-up with Ms. LaSonya Gunter and Ms. Heather Carswell at  Empire Beauty School. She has created the make-up for: Fashion on the Hudson Fashion Show, Fashion Avenue News Magazine, Macy 's Impulse Beauty, Funk the Formula Magazine. 

She has worked with designers: Divine and Sugar, Lisa Astor's Obradioro, and Jamboree Mas.  


Katherine has loved the theatre for as long as she can remember.  She finds it joyous that her theatrical experience is beginning in the supportive environment of, Songbirds Unlimited Production bringing to life the infamous singer, Damita Jo. She dedicates this show to her Mami and Abuela ... her number one supporters and motivation.  

Moses Ukandu

Production Assistant, Volunteer

Born in Nigeria. graduated from school as an electronic engineer in 2002. He Moved from Dallas to NJ in 2009.

the go to person in the crew. Moses can go out find and buy an ironing board, shoe strings and  anything we need in any city.  He steams and irons costumes better than anyone in the production crew. He is our driver, loads and unloads props  costumes  and is always near when he is needed.

Latoya Britton

Production Assistant, Driver

Singer and pre-med student, LaToya joined On Kentucky Avenue in 2013.  She is excited to learn what goes on back stage to make a production run. She works very hard to make sure the Cast is comfortable and ready to perform.


Giovanna Kanu


Giovanna joined the crew as a volunteer in February 2015 for curiosity's sake. Her analytical mind and skills meets the arts. She holds the position to analyze what is happening back stage, make sure things are organized and to solve issues so that things run smoothly back stage. She is the problem solver.
